Scotland

30.03.2014 -13.04.2014

After Iceland I took an early flight to Scotland or more exactly to Glasgow.

The flight was good. After I reached the airport, I took a bus to the city.

My accomadation for the first night in Glasgow was a Maria, another person I knew because of couchsurfing. Before I arrived in Scotland, she was so nice giving me tips which bus-lines I have to take, which was SO useful and really easy to get to Glasgow.

Facts:

- flight took about 3 hours

- company: Icelandair

- ticket price: 312,46 €

I think at this point I slipped on the way and then I was lying on the ground with my way too heavy backpack. I was lying on my back like a turned over turtle or like an bug. I couldn't stand up in a normal way. So I had to roll to the site to get up on my feet again :D

So glad when I reached the bottom...it really looks like nothing on the picture but it really was pretty high and I was near the point that you can see on the picture where it is black and with the 'smoke'
When I reached my hostel everthing was so wet...my actually waterproofed hiking-shoes, my clothes and my daypack...EVERYTHING. So lucky, that the hostel had a room where you could dry your shoes
Walking on 'Conic Hill'

2. day WHW

Way from Balmaha to
Rowardennan
I stayed positive and said to myself: 'Maybe it will stop to rain...' But if went worse and worse. And I had a prolem to find the way xD At the beginning there was a normal way but after it I wasn't sure how to get to the top So at the beginning I went a way to the right until I hadn't any possibility to go on. Then I went back but there wasn't a real way, so I climbed the way kind of. Then I was pretty high to take the great Picture of the lake. It doesn't look like that on the pictures but it was raining so hard and it was windy. The rain hurt on my face. There wasn't any tree to stand under. I was literally scared to death. After I took the phots, I went the way back, where I was afraid to slip...
